Hats

Thanks for checking back on my blog!

    We are visiting my mom's friend in Canada.  We are having so much fun!  These pictures are of some hats that my mom and her friend made.  My mom made the top one and her friend made the bottom two. 

  

 We are going to sell them at market this Thursday.  My favorite is one of the one bottom two {I can't pick}.

   We have been having so much fun in Canada.  We came up over half of the way with my two best friends.  Then we stayed two nights and a day with them.  While we were there we got to here some wolves howling pretty close by and see a HUGE black bear.  Then we left their house and traveled 9-10 hours on the Alaska Highway.  While traviling we saw 6-7 moose and 5 bears.  Oh, and 3 rusty barrels that we thought were grizzly bears.  That night we met our friends and the next day we traveled the rest of the way to their house.  I will tell you more another post, but for now I am DONE! ~ Tiarra

Let me just say this post is not just about croutons.  I am posting to complain about being SICK.
   I woke up this morning with a HORRIBLE sour thought.  I am not going to write much this time, but I need to vent my frustration.  I has rained for DAYYYYYYYYYS:(  Yes DAYS.  I am so sick of rain, rain, rain, rain.  It even snowed on the top of the mountain peek. 

  But, the good new is that... AAHHH, Grandma and Grandpa are visiting.  Daddy is home for a week.  We are getting new beds.  And, We are having fun despite the rain and sickness. 

  Whew, I feel better having said all that.  Hope you all have a nice day and aren't sick like me.  TIARRA

Our Homeschool State History Trip 2012

     I went on a state history trip with some of the girls in my home school group last week.  We went to museums, interpretive centers, old ghost towns, caves, and such.   I have quite a few pictures for you all, so sit back and ENJOY!   

 This is me looking for sapphires.  We were given buckets of muddy gravel and strainers.  We put about eight medium scoops of the gravel into the square strainers.  We took the strainers to a trough of water and swished and swished.  Then we came back to our table and dumped the big pieces of gravel that didn't get washed away, in the trough, onto the table.  Then we looked for sapphires!  When we found some we picked them out with tweezers and put them in our container.  Finally, we took the sapphires into a building where they cleaned them and bagged them for us, then we took them HOME!

 

         Here I am lassoing a fake cow called a woody.  I had a lot of fun doing this.  Of course lassoing woodies are WAY easier then lassoing real cows.

 This is a picture taken at a mineral museum.  It is of agates attached to wood making them look like butterflies. It was a beautiful creation.  You should have been there.

   My shoe was squeaking the whole time.  It was quite funny, because it sounded so much like a bat.  There were a nice amount of bats in there.  Most of our group thought it was bats.  It was rather funny!

Almost Done! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  

     School is almost... OUT!  I am so, so ecxited.  I will miss all my friends I have in the town classes though. 


I think I already posted this picture of fluffy in a post before, but who cares.  I think it is a funny one. 

 The weather outside is kinda dreary, but it is getting better.  Today has been a good day.  I finished my school early and got to spend the rest of the day having FUNNNNN! 

   My Grandpa and Grandma are here so I need to go.  See ya later- TIARRA

Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring, Spring, Spring, spring, Spring! This picture shows that the water in our pump is not frozen any more.  This was actually taken in March, but who cares it is spring.  That's all I care about right now.  Today is very, very rainy, but it is still spring. 

  I am listening to Adventures In Odyssey while I write to you all.  

  Mama is sleeping.  Mr. Blueberry Eyes is coloring.  The cat is sleeping.  The dog is.........well I don't know what the dog is doing.

      Today I don't have any pictures.  I never thought I would start writing enough to make you guys feel like you were getting behind.  I think I might be though.  If you think I am writing to much you can tell me by writing me a comment.  I don't want to bore you all because you can't seem to keep up.  Today is just a bit cold, but nice and sunny.  At least it is sunny:)  I am glad that spring is finally here.  We have had a pretty nice winter here, but spring always wonderful.  No matter how springy the winter is.  I guess I wouldn't call this winter springy even though it really didn't feel like winter.  Thanks for checking in today.  Hope to write soon (but not too soon)-Tiarra

Hope the weather has been good for you all.  We have had off and on weather lately.  Well what I mean is that sometimes the weather is nice and sometimes the weather is not so nice.  We have been have weather all of the time lately

While I post this the cat, Fluffy, is laying beside me SLEEPING.  She woke me up other night at FOUR OCLOCK.  Trying to get the point across that she was hungry.  She did this by playing on my wood chest and on my window sill.  Oh, and in case you wanted to know.  She already had Food.
