Busy As Busy Can Get

Good day to you all. My family and I have been so busy lately it isn't even funny.

Mama is working on planting potatoes in this picture. We have a whole bunch of stuff in the garden already, but still have a lot more to plant. My Grandma bought me two four-year* lilacs. They are starting to bloom already. We planted our fruit trees the other day. We have a plum tree, apple tree, cherry tree, pear tree, and two apricot trees. In our big green house we have watermelon, cantaloupe, kale, chives, pea greens, radicchio, and eggplant. Mama put some little hoops up and in them she has some peppers and some tomatoes. We planted two hundred and seventy-five strawberry plants and thirty three blueberry plants. We also have onions, cabbage, brussel sprouts, and sweet potatoes. That is all that I can remember, but do forgive me if I forgot.

Mr. Blueberry Eyes and I have been in "Cross Country" this spring. Mr. Blueberry Eyes runs 1/2 mile and I run one mile two times a week. Now, to some of you that may sound like a "Piece of Cake", but to us that is a huge accomplishment. Mr. Blueberry Eyes won a tenth place ribbon and a sixth place ribbon, and I got one sixth place ribbon. But that wasn't too hard because they give out ten ribbons and there weren't even ten girls in that race.

Mama finished making me a medieval costume a little while ago. If any of you have ever seen the movie "Ever After" you will probably think that this dress looks like the dress Danielle wore the first time she pretended to be a courtier. For you who haven't ever seen "Ever After" It is a another version of Cinderella. She pretended to be a courtier to so that she could buy back the servant that her step mother had sold. In doing so, she met the prince and ended up falling in love with him,but anyway, onto my blog. For those of you who know me well you will know that I love to play dress up. I am constantly off in another world of princesses, and what not. Sometimes I even make myself tired of not being in my own world. Of course you might not find that out too quickly by just talking to me, because I really am only off in my own world when nobody is looking or listening to me. I'm afraid if you saw me acting you might start to giggle or something like that.

Here is the back of the dress. I really like the dress, because it actually fits me. Most dress-up dresses you'd buy in the store are too small for girls my age. I am very grateful to my mother. She put a lot of time into this dress, and I might as well add that she did a very nice job of it. TTFN-Tiarra

* Four-year means it has bean growing for four years. You can get other year old plants also, but four-year is nice because it is usualy fairly big and on its way to being full grown.

Your dress is very nice. Now I will know what to look for at Fort Steele. You will fit right in. Hope you make it there this summer.
