Quiet Time

Hi, guys! I am having quiet time right now and decided to post to keep me busy.

You will be reading quite a bit of things today but I hope you will like it.

This first picture is of two of my uncles. The one on the left is of MP. You know, MP, the one that got married. The other is of my Uncle (The Passionate Explorer) playing "Would You Rather". I think this picture is pretty nice, don't you?

The second picture is of the board hanging in our living room. My mom, Cheerful Worker, cross stitched the bears and my dad, Wood Artist, found the wood by a lake pretty close to our house and they put it in our living room.
The next picture is of our cat (Lucky Tiger) will be her name here. We think she is a bengal. My parents got her in Hong Kong, China. Can you believe it? When she had kittens she didn't know what they were. Now here comes the sad part. She killed all but one (Whino). He whines a lot! I can tell you that his picture is not here, but he looks a lot like (Lucky Tiger) just he is alot fatter and bigger. The funny part is she had the kittens one week after my mom had me. Isn't that funny?
The Spy Deputy is sitting licking herself while I type.
My quiet time is over, but I think I will keep typing. How's that sound?
I am working on my Pathfinder cooking honor and am supposed to write down some recipes for it and thought maybe you would like a recipe.
My Great Grandma's Buttermilk Pancakes
1 qt. buttermilk,rinse with 1/2 c. water
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4c. suger
3 c.flour ( may mix with whole wheat & white flour)
2 tsp. baking soda
2tsp. baking powder
Directions - Mix. Let sit for 15 mins. Mix in 1/2 c. oil. Make pancakes.
Hope you enjoy the recipe. Leave a comment telling me what you think about it.
Looks as if my pic. of (Lucky Tiger) disappeared. I will try to put the pic. on another post. Then you can see it.
The Spy Deputy is sleeping by me now. If you want, you can mentionn in your comment about the recipe, if you have pets and what their names are. TTFN-Tiarra

happytouseYou found a fun way to spend your quiet time and practice keyboarding as well. Neat. I will copy the recipe but have not tried it. The only pet we have is the neighbors dog who comes to visit when they do. Occasionally he sneaks over here other times. Sometimes I think he thinks he is our dog too. Then there are other times when our kids and their families come and bring their dogs. All these dogs keep us intertained without us having one of our own, don't you think. It's easier that way.

You are quite the chronicles lady.
True to form picture....that is the way your uncles are. Thanks for the recipe...I'll have to copy it down, too. Did you tell Great Grandma that you're posting her recipe? I better run...we're headed home as soon as Grandpa is done eating. You have a grand evening...
